"Josh, what did you say? Everything!"
"I don't want to talk about it."
"I don't care, I'm going to be the one who has to talk to the press. Tell me what you said!"
"Donna." Josh called out.
"Why are you calling her in here for?"
"What?" Donna walked in.
"Yes, can you get us some coffee?" Josh smiled.
"What?" Donna and Toby said together.
"I thought we could have some coffee." Josh said.
"Get your own coffee." Donna said before walking out.
"I'll get us some coffee." Josh smiled and got up.
"Sit!" Toby yelled. "Tell me everything you said!"
"It really isn't as bad as you think it is, Toby," Josh said as he sat down at his desk.
"Tell me now," Toby growled.
"They asked me about the book, and I told them what I knew."
"Why did you tell them that?! Nothing in there is true! Nothing! I'm not prickly!"
Josh laughed a little, then stopped when he saw Toby's glare. "Look Toby, I just--"
"Shut up. You are never allowed in the briefing room again."
"I've been told that before."
"Why didn't you listen?!"
"Leo was in a meeting, Sam was watching Derek, you and CJ weren't here, and I was the only one who could."
"What else did you tell them," Toby asked as he sat down and looked straight into Josh's eyes.
"I just commented on the book." Josh looked away while talking. "I said it was false, but some of the descriptions of the staff were true. Namely yours."
"You're an idiot." Toby hit Josh over the head.
"Where the hell is he?" Leo barged in. "What were you thinking?"
"What?" Josh said softly.
"Did you see it?" Leo asked Toby.
"No. But he told me about the book." Toby glared at him.
"That's not all he said."
"What?" Toby growled. "I thought you said that was it!"
"Well, I might have said some other thing, they were really making me mad."
"Like what?" Toby looked over at Leo this time.
"Stupid over here offered a member of the press an interview with you."
"On what?"
"On what it feels like to be a father." Josh smiled.
"You shut up!" Toby yelled. "Staff do not do interviews. CJ set that rule up."
"I had to give them something for calling them all stupid again."
"So you gave them to me!"
"You're more interesting."
"This sucks Leo." Toby whined.
"Well, maybe you can fix the other comment made."
"What the hell went on in the pressroom?" Toby screamed.
"Josh said that the President is thinking of taking funds away from the NEA because of you."
"Oh no." Toby looked down. "This is not happening, I just promised them extra funds to build now theaters."
Toby walked over to Josh. "If my ex-wife comes in here yelling at me about this, I'm going to make sure you die a slow death Joshua Lyman." Toby warned.
"She already called. She's very irate." Leo smiled over at Josh.
"What was the exact wording you used to the press Josh?" Toby asked. "What did you say about the NEA?"
"I may have said that you hate the arts..." Josh looked up carefully.
"You did what?!" Toby was yelling very loudly now.
"Well you told me that you do."
"That was me being sarcastic, Josh. I was trying to get out of going to that meeting."
Josh looked confused. "Really?"
"Yes, really." Toby banged his head on Josh's desk several times.
"Okay, let's try not to have any head banging here," Leo said as he stopped Toby from hitting his head on the desk.
"I want to kill him Leo."
"You're not the only one." Leo gave Josh a glare.
Toby looked from Josh to Leo and back to Josh. "You said something else, didn't you?"
"Well, I may have said something about the Ten Commandments..."
"What?! Josh, have you completely lost what little you have left of your mind?!" Toby yelled.
"I'm sorry, like I said, they were making me mad."
"You're making ME mad!" Toby started running after Josh, but Leo grabbed him.
"Go get some fresh air."
"No, I need to know what he said. Word for word. I'm going to have a lot of people mad at me for something I didn't mean."
"The arts will wait until later, take a breather before you kill him."
"I think I'll take care of that before I take a breather!"
"Toby, someone is here to see you." Ginger walked up.
"Who?"
"Well, a couple of people." Ginger looked down.
"Who?"
"Well, one's Andy, but she brought around 10 or 15 other woman with her.
They barged in your office."
"I'll be right there." Toby said as he rubbed his head.
"You ok?" Josh asked.
"I have a headache!" Toby snapped. "Tell me about the ten commandments before I go in there."
"Well, the ten..."
"I meant what did you exactly say about it!" Toby screamed as he felt a sharp pain in his head.
They started to walk towards Toby's office. "Well, um, I told them that you get very sensitive when it comes to talking about them," Josh said.
"Sensitive? What exactly are you getting at here, Josh?"
"I said that you are simply very knowledgeable in that area. Then one of the reporters..."
"One of the reporters what?"
"One of them asked me to ask you to speak at her daughter's school on Friday." Josh ducked as Toby gave him a glare.
"JOSH!"
"What? Look, you know a lot about them anyway, so it won't be that bad...only, it will."
Toby was about to say something when...
"TOBY ZIEGLER WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Andy yelled.
"Hello Andrea." He said as he walked to his office. "I'm going to kill you," he said quietly to Josh.
